I have been traveling for over 7 years as a backpacker, including living and traveling in Canada, Europe, and Central and South America. Over this time I feel that I have begun to understand a backpackers lifestyle and can safely budget travel whilst still enjoying the many things to do and see and attractions that this amazing world has to offer.

I would now like to pass that insider information on to you and would relish in the chance to offer up my advice and knowledge so that you too can travel the world and experience the hidden and not-so-hidden greatness on this planet!

Covering the majority of Costa Rica recently, we were as backpackers attempting to save money as best we could whilst still experiencing the beauty that Costa Rica has to offer.

I can provide assistance on many areas including where to go and what to see, getting around on a budget, using the bus system (which is hard to follow online), and ensuring that you have a great time visiting this beautiful part of the world.

Spending a little over a month trawling through this great country (which still wasn't enough), I was able to see areas including Sayulita, Mexico City, Oaxaca City, Puerto Escondido, Palenque, San Cristobal de las Casas, Merida (the Yucatan), Tulum, and Cancun (Quintana Roo).

I am well versed in creating an itinerary for this region of the world and can offer tips on all of the different parts of the country to help you ensure you see some wonderful places that Mexico has to offer. From Mayan ruins, to underground river systems (cenotes), to Frida artworks, Mexico has it all and I can help you plan it!

Cuba

Travel and Backpacking Through Cuba

Havana
Adventure and Outdoors , Beaches , Budget Travel , Hiking and Trekking , History and Culture

I backpacked through Cuba including in Havana, Vinales, and Trinidad. Throughout this time I came to understand all of the areas that aren't easily found on the internet including methods of saving money by using both available currencies, cheap accommodation options, the history of Cuba, stunning beaches, even simplistic areas such as shopping for food and accessing internet.

Let me pass on this advice to you through my experience so that you have a great understanding of Cuba before you go.

Nicaragua

Travel and Backpacking in Nicaragua

San Juan Del Sur , Granada , Isla de Ometepe , Masaya and Los Pueblos Blancos , Pacific Beaches
Adventure and Outdoors , Beaches , Budget Travel

Nicaragua was one of my favourite countries, and one that I researched a lot to learn as much as possible about what it had to offer. Because of this, I was able to enjoy myself when visiting some of the great places that Nica has on offer including Leon, the pacific beaches, Granada, Ometepe Island, and San Juan del Sur.

Let me help you to access these areas as well; I am well placed to help you travel on a budget (as backpackers do), and also to give advice on some great things to do and see within Nicaragua.

Panama

Travel and Backpacking in Panama

Travelling around Panama included time spent in Bocas del Toro, the Boquete region, and Panama City itself. We were able to gain a great insight into budget travelling into what can be an expensive country, and saw some wonderful sites along the way.

Let me help you with your itinerary for Panama so you can go to some amazing beaches, see the mountainous region that Panama has to offer, and of course see some classic sites including the Panama Canal.

Colombia

Colombia as a country has it all, from the massive cities in mountainous regions including Medellin and Bogota, to the beaches of the Caribbean, the desert, and more remote areas that range from coffee producing areas (Pereira and Salento), the desert once more (Tatacoa), through to smaller villages with archaeological surprises (San Agustin).
